An event that celebrates responsive web design, web development, and accessibility
Inspired by Responsive Day Out in Brighton, we decided to bring the brightest minds in responsive web design to our home town for a day of phenomenal talks.
Responsive Field Day was a fun, open and accessible event—and the site we designed needed to reflect those values.
When we set out to create a conference, we wanted to do things a bit differently. We wanted to make sure as many people as possible could attend the event so we kept prices low and promised to donate any proceeds to charity.
We also wanted to celebrate Portland and encourage people to visit our wonderful city.
The site reflects our community spirit. The background contains many references to Portland landmarks while the little bits of animation sprinkled on the geometric robots let people know the conference doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The event was a huge success. We were able to donate money to buy laptops for local underserved youth. And all of the audio and video from the talks can be found on the site.
We’re Cloud Four
We solve complex responsive web design and development challenges for ecommerce, healthcare, fashion, B2B, SaaS, and nonprofit organizations.
Ceasefire Oregon is a small, non-profit organization working for sensible gun law reform. Their site had a wealth of information, but was difficult to navigate and read. We helped Ceasefire Oregon rebrand, redesign, and move to a new content management system.
We designed and developed a responsive, performant, and accessible demo to explain and showcase how Cloudinary helps developers solve common problems, increasing engagement over 400% on the page where it was embedded.
