Lighthouse Parade Privacy Policy

Lighthouse Parade is a tool that allows users to generate reports for an entire website using Lighthouse, Google’s performance, accessibility, and best-practices web auditing tool.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Lighthouse Parade collects, uses, and shares your information. When you use Lighthouse Parade, you agree to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Lighthouse Parade does not collect, store, or share personal information.

CSV Output

When you use Lighthouse Parade with the CSV output format, Lighthouse Parade does not upload any data. Your reports are output to a CSV that can be downloaded.

Google Sheets Output

When the Google Sheets output format is used, Lighthouse Parade opens a Google sign-in page, where a user may grant Lighthouse Parade access to the user’s Google Sheets so that Lighthouse Parade may create a new sheet for storing results.

Google authentication: When you authenticate using the Google sign-in page, that service authenticates you directly, and an authentication token is used to create a Google Sheet to store the Lighthouse results. As Lighthouse results become available, the authentication token is continually used to add the new results to the Google Sheet. When the Lighthouse Parade run finishes or is canceled, the authentication token is discarded, meaning that future runs of Lighthouse Parade with the Google Sheets output format will require signing in again.

Lighthouse Parade will not access any data stored in your Google account, except for creating the Google Sheet each time the Google Sheets output format is used.

We do not collect or store any personal information, regardless of whether you use the Google Sheets output format or the CSV output format.
