We’re searching for a versatile and enthusiastic Senior Front-end Developer to join our small team of multi-disciplinary web craftspeople in lovely downtown Portland!
If you love the web, solving complex problems, assessing new technologies and teaching what you learn in writing or in person, you’d be a great fit for Cloud Four. As a Senior Front-end Developer, you’ll work directly with our clients to understand their objectives, shape project direction and craft applications that make the most of the web to solve real problems for real end users.
If you appreciate great design in addition to development, you’ll find a home here. All of our designers code, with most of our design work happening in the browser. All team members are encouraged to participate in ideation, sketching and design feedback regardless of the project phase.
We provide a positive and creative workplace where people can do their best work. We value the unique contributions of every member of the Cloud Four team. We welcome and seek diverse opinions and backgrounds.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We’re not interested in startup insanity. We support our families with reasonable hours, flexible schedules, and the ability to work from home when needed. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, parental leave and a retirement savings plan.
We’re a small web consultancy with big aspirations. We started Mobile Portland, organized Responsive Field Day and host a community device testing lab. Our articles are frequently cited by some of the web’s most influential voices. We speak at conferences, participate in web standards setting, and contribute to open source software. We like exploring the frontiers of what’s possible on the web and sharing what we learn.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your resume and a cover letter explaining why you’re the right person to join our team to firstname.lastname@example.org.
